Prepare your way to IP glory

Committee Location

Brief

Whether it's through a pen or a mic, journalists are the eyes, ears, and voice of the truth in a world driven by diplomacy and debate.

The IPJ provides an unbiased platform for those who seek to observe, question and immortalize the essence of the conference.

Journalists under IPJ capture the pulse of the conference through astute and insightful writing.

If you are armed with curiosity, clarity, and critical thinking, and want to write words that carry the power to question, analyse, and bring attention to important issues that hide behind the curtains of politics, this podium is all yours!

Executive Board

Sriyansh Mohanty
Head of IPJ

Sriyansh Mohanty

Sriyansh, often referred to as the "China Guy", is currently working with a top research firm in developing a policy for constructive engagement between New Delhi and Beijing. As a dynamic and sought-after executive board member, he leverages his deep expertise to drive insightful and meaningful discussions. His experience as a delegate and a journalist makes him a threat for the delegates in the press conferences. Post committee hours, you'll often find him scrolling through Foreign Affairs or bashing the American foreign policy.

Keerthana
EIC

Keerthana

Keerthana is a lawyer, currently working as an in-house legal associate. When she isn’t picking on someone in the office, she can be found in an MUN, doing the same. She has been a part of this circuit for over 5 years now and served as the Secretary-General of VITCMUN'23.

A Ankitha Reddy
Senior Editor

A Ankitha Reddy

Ankitha is a 4th-year CSE student at SSNCE and a seasoned reporter in the South Indian circuit. When she’s not aggressively typing out Op-Eds in her notes app on metro rides back home, you can spot her sketching with Peach Pit blasting on the speakers, adamantly defending Telugu movie plots, and yapping about Greek mythology in the company of her beloved houseplants. Actively inactive on most social media platforms, the best way to reach her is summoning every unsuspecting dog on campus with "Doggy Ji." A firm believer in leveraging tech for social good, Ankitha’s drive for change goes beyond MUNs, roping in everyone in the vicinity to volunteer with NGOs every weekend. (Warning: if you're reading this, it’s already too late—see you next Saturday!)
