We are honoured to present the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. NATO serves as an organisation which governs the foreign policy and military actions of its members primarily of the Western bloc, with mutual self defense being one of its unique characteristics. Founded in 1949 based on the North Atlantic Treaty, this organisation's conception comes out of the Yalta and Potsdam conferences, with the Iron Curtain dividing Europe, and setting the stage for the cold war. If you wish to reenact the debate within the west in the midst of the Russo-Ukraine war, then NATO is the place to be. So join us as we simulate this meeting of the Western bloc in a pressing political and military environment, in the 11th edition of SSN-SNUC MUN!
